Creating Profiles with the User and Services Configuration Form

Use this method of managing user profiles if you are modifying or creating a large number of user profiles.

The User and Services Configuration form () combines the functions of several system forms into one form and allows you to modify a wide range of user and device data without having to navigate through multiple forms. It provides a single location for managing User and Services Configuration data such as directory names and numbers, device information such as phone type, key programming, and voice mail setup.

NOTE: If you have a small number of user profiles to add, or a small amount of user profile data to change, you can create profiles by using the User Authorization Profiles form.

To create user profiles, you can choose to use either the User Authorization Profiles form or the User and Services Configuration form. The advantage of using the User and Services Configuration form to manage user data is that you can modify a wide range of user data (such as Telephone Directory, Department, or Personal Speed Call assignments) without having to navigate through many forms.
